SolarWave supplies four solar powered water treatment systems to The Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB).

SolarWave’s water treatment systems will be used at base camps for the UN mission in remote locations in South Sudan where the International Humanitarian Partnership (IHP), of which the MSB is a member, is providing field staff and equipment.

“Lack of roads, fuel and electricity demand new technical solutions, and SolarWave is proud to be a part of the solution and to support the important work of the UN in South Sudan.” says Johan Wennerberg, CEO of SolarWave AB.

The SolarWave water purification systems are especially suitable for areas that lack infrastructure. Built for long lifetime in harsh environments, the high quality solar powered water purification systems are self-contained and the environmentally friendly technique of supplying power to the unit makes it uniquely suitable for both itinerant and stationary use.

“The products fulfill our special needs of technical solutions for this mission.” says Filip Staake, procurement officer at the MSB.
