The Teacher Mediated Option (TMO) programme began in 1984 as a cooperation programme for school departments. In 1992, Manitoba Education took over responsibility for the management of the TMO program and it was operated from Wawanesa, MB (within the Southwest School Division). In 2007, the TMO program moved to the Distance Learning Unit in Winkler, MB. Between 2010 and 2012, discussions began with participating school departments on the continuation of the TMO program. It was decided to create a consortium with the participating school sections and to place TMO teachers under the collective agreement of the host. In 2012 – 2013, this consortium was created with a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the consortium members and Manitoba Education. The Sunrise School division serves as a host service and the iso material is used as a basis for teaching. This letter of intent was renewed annually, but between 2014 and 2015, the Pine Creek School Division began acting as the host department. United by a unique vision and shared goals, Shared Health`s lab and imaging sites are collaborating to support a province-wide service delivery model. The Diagnostic Services team includes more than 3,000 medical, technical, care, management and support staff who work together to deliver Manitoban`s important laboratory, imaging and cardiac diagnostic services.

The Shared Health Diagnostic Services Lab and imaging center are located in the downtown complex, where the hospital and other health services are located.
